And to bring them back to the original soft condition it will have to go through a heat treatment, better known as annealing.

Tubing made from stainless steel can resist atmospheric corrosion including salt-water atmospheres. It even shows resistance to rusting and pitting. For maximum corrosion resistance, the stainless steel tubing should be free of lubricants, foreign particles and coatings applied for drawing and heading.
